Could it be possible for 6 week old to have milk trapped in windpipe???

I started co-sleeping with my 6 wk old a few nights ago and feeding him in a laying position and we've both been falling asleep together. The last couple of nights he's started sounding as though he has gurgly liquid trapped in his windpipe - could this be milk that he has inhaled by falling asleep whileeating? I would have suspected a cold but he coughed after feeding earlier and some milk came out of his nose - was that just a coincidence or could he really have milk trapped? And if so would breastmilk cause any harm in there?

He also had his bcg jab a few days ago - any chance that could cause any cold-ey symptoms? Really thought breastfeeding was supposed to help avoid stuff but he's had bronchiolitis at 1 week old and now something else going on! Thanks for any advice anyone can offer x

reflux ? Try to avoid feeding completely flat

sorry not very helpful but my 6 wk old does this and has done since birth. I just sit her up a bit and that seems to help.

Hopefully someone more helpful will be along soon. :)

unlikely to be in windpipe - we are evolved to not allow liqued in windpipe without frantic coughing, Presume its phlegm left over from bronchiolitis (can take months to clear). Elevate his trunk slightly.
