Baby (8m) has fairly bad excema and trying to keep him out of the sun. However I will have to put him in it at some point. Anyone suggest any suncreams that didn't aggravate their DC's excema?

i we have tried a 'Banana boat' one available in boots for sensitive skin. its not greasy at all or sticky which i think are key in why some aggrivate DD skin. she's not an excema sufferer but she does have dry sensitive skin at times. have only used it this last week but seems really good

We use green people- you can get it online or at waitrose/ocado- its good coverage, and my 2 who both have eczema don't have too many problems.
I do tend to keep my youngest in long sleeve/full length trousers though- lots of lovely light cotton clothing isn't too expensive from sainsbury etc-his eczema is worse of the 2, and he does get some bumps after wearing suncream.

green people is very good my 3 dcs cant use any others as they get terrible rash and spots but are fine with this one, only thing is i think the highest factor you can get is 25

Thanks will look for those. Suppose it's trial and error though til I find one that suits! Good to have the suggestions.

DS's consultant recommended this one for eczema

www.pharmacy2u.co.uk/sunsense.html?affiliateid=81866680101062&gclid=CM6vxbv8lqgCFQoZ4QoduwdACg

I ordered it from my local chemist. It is definately trial and error though.

I have in past used the tesco own one, if they still do pink and green, it's got to be the green one the pink one is no good for eczema, lots of people I have spoken to have actually tried loads of different brands and then found that the tesco green one is the only one that dosen't set off their children's eczema, might be worth a try.

I am another fan of Sunsense. Definitely recommend it. Both my husband and 6 year old are eczema sufferers and it's the only one we found they could really tolerate.

I used the Simple Baby one last year, was fine. Best one of course is keeping them out of direct sun.
