Strange sickness bug? Or something else?

DS2 (3 in July) has been sick three times this week (Wed, Fri & tonight!), each in the late evening, with no other signs of illness.
He is off his food a bit, not eating proper meals since Tuesday but filling up on cereal in the morning.

Sorry if this is TMI, but each time he's been sick it was been mostly fluid he's drunk and remains of all the food from the day. I've just washed this morning's regurgitated scrambled egg off the duvet!

What should I do? Is this a bug do you think, or something else to consider?

The fact that he wants to eat is a good sign. It would be far more worrying if he was being sick and refusing any food. Hope you will get some answers at the doc but be prepared to have tests and vagueness. Good luck.

Oh, I am very used to vagueness from our Dr.
She is very good generally, but most non-committal!

Hmm it is so hard to find a good gp.

Quick update:
It's not tonsilitus, ear infection or normal tummy bug (he'd be sick all the time and generally poorly). There is no rash or temperature.
Urine sample is going to the hospital for testing, doctor thinks it could be a urine infection.
She thinks everything is a urine infection. Hmm

He did eat dry cornflakes and cream crackers throughout the day yesterday, and at teatime had brown rice, half a mini naan bread and a £2coin sized dollop of mild chicken curry sauce.

No sickness, but a hugely distended tummy and a lot of wind!

Bless him - poor little thing. He must feel quite rough. Good that he managed to keep that down and not be sick.

Urine infection? Does that make you sick? I've never heard of that. Many other symptoms but never heard of throwing up as one of them.

Like I say, the doctor thinks everything is a urine infection. Grin
I think she says it and orders the test just so it looks as though they are doing something.Hmm

He's quite perky today, but I'm not holding my breath. He was fine all day Sunday and most of Monday, until the evening.

I just want to thank everyone on this thread for their suggestions and support. MN is fabulous!

Bollocks that toncilitus makes them throw up all the time. ds has nasty toncilitus and he just sounds like he has really bad asthmay cough. He has only thrown up once or twice in the evening too. but i am assuming she has looked as his throat to rule that out.

Hope he continues to keep the food down.

No sick since Monday! RESULT!
