It's not necessarily an accurate reading- Ear thermometer has gone awol and am using my predictor ttc one onder his arm. He is hot to the touch, listless, snotty, but ate a sandwich and is drinking.

I am crap with tempratures... Is this normal?

i would say hold tight for now. if he's eating ok thats a good sign.

prob a cold virus. give calpol. see how he goes tonight.

No need to give calpol unless he's really miserable. If he's happy enough then just let the fever do its thing. Keep an eye on him and make sure he keeps drinking.

Imnotaslimjim · 29/03/2011 19:57

Keep off the calpol unless he's in pain, the temp will help him get better.

As others have said, keep his fluids up and don't worry too much if he doesn't eat a great deal

Thank you. He's hot to the touch, and clingy, but has eaten and has had a drink. My poor baby.

Thanks again for the advice.
