20mo DD won't stand on her feet

It seems to hurt her and she starts wincing and asking to be picked up. We had a rough night last night, she had a temperature and was really restless all night but settled once her nurofen kicked in and I turned the fan on low.

Woke up at 9am, got her into bed with me for a quick cuddle and then I got out, she got down to follow me but was stuck to the spot.

She has been on the couch since, I have tried massaging her feet, putting them on a cold floor in case it's cramp, tempting her with all sorts to walk to me but she just won't.

Any ideas? If it's no better in an hour I was going to call my doctor but thought I'd see if any body on here had any ideas first :)

Thanks

Sorry, nothing to suggest, but I'd go to GP with a bag packed for an A&E visit. Only done that once with three children so it's not something I'd often do.
It could well be nothing but I'd want it checked. Could well be a virus causing ligament/muscle etc. pain.

Oh buggar :( really? The earlier my GP can see her is 4pm, they tried to make me wait until Wednesday morning until I asked if they would wait that long to see a doctor if they couldn't walk without crying Hmm

Will pack supplies in case - thanks for the reply!

It's only a suggestion. If there's nothing obvious/known wrong then they might want to do blood tests/x=ray.
I know there is some virus that can cause hip inflamation in (usually) smallp boys, which is very painful, but clears with no lasting effect. It's not going to be urgent tox see GP, although I would agree with pushing for today.
Hopefully it'll be nothing much and short lasting!

Don't fret-it could just be muscle aches due to a virus especially with you mentioning that she had a temperature last night.
