small amount of blood when wiping dd

My dd is 13 months old. Twice in the past week, when I've wiped her front after a dirty nappy, there has been a small streak of red blood left on the wipe. It's a very small amount, and there have been numerous dirty and wet diaper changes between those two times when there was no blood at all.

A few things that might or might not be relevant:

She has had a bit of nappy rash, which she often gets when she has teeth coming in. The whole area including her outer labia has been a little red and sore looking, as has her bottom, but it's not a bad rash (no blisters or oozing or anything) and no worse than it's been with previous periods of teething.

Both times that I saw the blood, I was changing a very dirty diaper with loose poo that had gotten everywhere. It was one of those where it gets into the creases and I had to part her labia and wipe just a little inside in order to get her cleaned up. I was gentle, of course.

She doesn't seem to become suddenly whingey or irritable as she might if she had pain passing urine. She also doesn't seem inordinately uncomfortable or annoyed when I wipe her front or when I take a closer look. A bit squirmy and whingey, but nothing unusual for a toddler who wants to be up and around. When I looked tonight, her inner labia did seem a little bit irritated and red on one side, but I saw nothing alarming and she was not visibly bleeding.

She is her happy, smiley self and doesn't seem at all out of sorts.

She has an appointment for her vaccinations at the end of the week, so I plan to ask about it then, but in the meantime I'm hoping to put my mind at ease or determine whether I should ask for an earlier appointment.

I've googled of course, but all that comes up is stuff related to the hormone-related bleeding that newborns sometimes get. She's 13 months as I said, and I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months, so that isn't it.

Anyone had any similar experiences or ideas as to what the problem is?

It could well be a tiny cut up her anus. GP can check it out if you're worried. It should heal itself.
