Title says it all really! Ds is 19 weeks and due last lot of jags tomorrow. But for past few days he has been a bit snotty and had a dry cough. Temp ok and feeding fine. Will they do the jags or should I cancel them?? Thanks for any advice.

Phone and check. My surgery won't do them but I know others will if they dont have temp.

I cancel anyway as I would rather him be fully fit before he has them.

I wouldn't. His immune system is busy at the moment. There's no rush.

I did wonder if they had to be done tomorrow ie if there had to be a certain amount of time between them. Thanks for replies. Just tried to phone hv, left message.

Nope there is no rush to get them done. Ds is 16 months and still hasn't had his mmr, will hopefully get it next week!

Live in Scotland - seems to be common parlance up here!

I was going to ask what a jag is. I thought it was a posh car.

salander · 08/03/2011 16:45

Think is def a Scottish thing. Is also nickname for partick thistle football club in Glasgow.

Have you heard of a jaggy thistle? Jaggy means spikey. Nothing more spikey than a needle ...

seb1 · 08/03/2011 16:49

Jag is a sharp pointy thing (like an injection), jab is a punch (not available on the NHS in Scotland) WinkGrin
