it seems every couple of weeks he comes down with new virus/cold.i think hes just about had enough of it ,hes starting to get really miserable and wingey, goes off his food and just looks really sad all the time.
I feel rotten sending him to school but he would never be there if i didnt send him everytime hes ill.
Just need reassuring hes going to grow out of this and be back to his cheery, always laughing ways?

He will. But it's a bloody horrible phase for you and him.

Spring is popping along with Summer to follow and that seems to cheer up the immune system. Well it does for those who don't have

I sometimes dose mine with vitamins in the Winter months when it's green snotty nose / virus time.

He will, don't worry! My DS (4.11) was exactly the same last year. From September to December he had 80% attendance at school. In November and December he had a cold, then a tummy bug, then flu, then another tummy bug, then chicken pox! He had three 4 day weeks, 3 weeks off and was late going back after Christmas. We were all going demented!

He is now back to being the happy, bouncy, eager to get out boy he used to be.

It is normal for them to catch a lot of bugs, especially now they are at school. And the school aren't bothered about having to deal with a cough and cold. If they have a temp or a tummy bug, its a different matter, obviously
