Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

afaik, it is not on the standard schedule in the uk.

why woudl you want your ds to have it?

nymphadora · 20/02/2011 10:55

Hep B is usually only done to people who work in at risk professions. I had it as I regularly got attacked. It's a couple of jabs & blood test so not v straight forward

ah ok. i am in aus now and its needed for imunisation register. apparently everyone has it here but i could not see that it was done in the UK.

Are you sure you want it? I very much doubt that your young baby is at risk of HEpB! REad up about it before you make your decision! :)

unfortunately its something all children have here. If Ds does not have it then we will have problems with any childcare and school. which we are currently having.

I'm sure there are exemptions Moocow - many people can't or don't vaccinate for medical/religious reasons. Look into what type of exemptions are available where you are - you shouldn't be forced to vaccinate for hepb if you don't want to.
