10 month old hardly eaten all day - Advice?

Hello,

My 10 month old DD had her full 6 oz bottle at 3 am this morning and that has been her last full meal. She refused her cereal this morning. I made her a piece of toast and she had one small bite then refused the rest. She has drank less than 3 oz of milk all day and only had a few sips of water. The one time I did get her to take a bottle she drank 4 oz and promptly threw it back up.

She does not have a fever. My PIL came round yesterday and my FIL has a tummy bug so I'm fairly certain DD has caught it. My main concern is how long should I let her go
without eating/drinking before I take her to see GP or to A & E.

Sorry if this is a daft question, she is my first and this is the first time she has refused food and drink.

TIA

My DS (10 and a half months) too, he has gastroenteritis :( I'm considering going back to A&E myself not that that helps you.
Are her nappies okay, wet?
I went to Out of Hours GP on the first night of it Friday and they said to only give him water (weren't very helpful), I went to A&E on the Saturday morning and they gave DS Dioralytes (which apparently you can buy over the counter at the chemists) you mix it with water, I was advised to give DS 5ml every 5mins. He's still poorly and it's awful. I sympathise.

I forgot to say, the Dioralytes replace the salts that the baby is not retaining due to all the vomiting.

Thanks Guacamole - I forgot to say in my OP that she hasn't had very many wet nappies today at all. She has had a few poo ones though, but they weren't messy at all. I guess maybe I need to see what she's like tomorrow and if she is the same (or worse) I will take her to A & E.

I think you can only trust your instinct in these cases, on the first night with my DS I kind of consoled myself in the fact that he wouldn't normally feed overnight anyway so I 'slept' on his floor (because he was being sick every 45minutes, even though he had nothing to vomit), but in the morning I just thought no stuff this I'm going to A&E.
His vomiting has stopped now and he now has diarrhoea. And he also has very dry nappies, obviously only little widdles but no urates (powdery yellow/orange marks).
