Am waiting on an ent appointment for my nearly 5yo.
He had his adenoids out and grommets in 2 years ago.
Now is having worsening apnoea at night.
A couple of episodes every 15 minutes.

He told me a few weeks ago he never slept at night ever, so I observed him for a bit and am now waiting to be seen.

Anyone been through this - what was the outcome?

Yes I found it really difficult to know how much to say to dd as didn't want to scare her and tbh I wasn't expecting it to be as bad as it was when she came round from the anaesthetic it was awful.... but the nurse on the ward was good and got some morphine for her which calmed her down a lot!!!

Just to add my dd is also freaks at the sight of needles but made a complete liar of me in the anesthetic room as I had mentioned she would prob need the gas and they said they would try the needle first..... with a tiny bit of distraction dd didn't even blink!!! I couldn't believe it!!!

Hi, just a wee bump - wondering if you've got a date yet norks? Nothing so far here :(

Hope your DS is doing OK while you wait.
