Toddler diarrhoea

Hi.
I posted a little while ago about my dd, who is 2 and constantly has the runs (thanks for the reply, coldtits - gave me some ideas to try). I wasn't bothered about it until her nursery expressed concern. Tbh, I was so used to her having dire-rear that it never occurred to me to worry.
Having spoken to a friend who also had problems with her ds, and done some research on-line, I have a strong suspicion that she has a condition called 'toddler diarrhoea'. Obviously I need to check with a doctor, rather than rely on self-diagnosis, just to make sure, but everything fits. She has 5 to 8 dirty nappies a day, they are all liquid (we go through a LOT of vests and tights!), but otherwise she is healthy, happy, energetic, and exactly right for her age in terms of weight. Looking at the advice, there's not much I can do to change things. She only drinks water, not fruit juice, she eats plenty of fresh fruit and veg (although I've cut out a lot of the fruit and replaced it with fresh veg for the time being on coldtits advice-doesn't yet seem to have made any difference), she has full fat milk etc.
Does anyone else have experience of this? Is there anything you found that would make a difference?

Her nursery did say that normally they would send kids home with this many runny nappies but they also realise that we've been dealing with it for so long it's clearly not a bug! So they've been great.
Any info about living with this (including potty training!) welcomed.

I don't really have any experiance with this but i had a thought have you tryed to bung her up a bit maybe with some sponge cake (no icing)or hard boiled eggs mash up. just to see if it makes a diff Hmm.
As for the potty i found that just having the potty in the room for a few weeks b4 starting my dd was less intimidated by it i also oftetn used to get my dd to put the doll on it and give the dolly lots of hugs for using the potty my dd was very impressed and proud when she managed to do it.
