Is it okay for my poorly toddler to watch tv all day?

I'm ill too. Nothing she wants to do except watch the same episode over and over again. She's got croup and a horrible cold. I appear to have the adult version. Any ideas to keep her happy and comfortable? She's 17 mo.

Yes absolutely

Hee hee I've often wondered the same. My lil one is nearly 3, with bad tummy cramps, diarrhoea and fever and teh only thing I can think of to do with him is cuddles and telly, been this way since Monday am. Although sometimes I want to scream at teh sound of Peppa Pig's voice, its better than my son crying in pain.

sorry, that would be the and the Wink

Thanks everyone. See, I could cope with Peppa Pig as there's a biting variety, but she'a demanding endless repeats of her favourite episode of Mio Mao, so it's wearing a bit thin! She's got the big monitor, I've got the iPhone. Oh well, tv all day it is then. She has just demanded colouring and cheese, so maybe feeling a bit better.

She is lovely, thank you. But she's making it very clear she doesn't like being ill! Hard when we're both ill. DH at work. No family for hundreds of miles and my friends either have small children or are working. Oh well. Must be nap time quite soon! Oh, now she wants to 'balay' (play!)
