DD 10 months is on nifedipine to open blood vessels and has just been put on daily asprin to thin her blood. She is on half an asprin a day. I was just wondering if anyones elses children are on this as I have been silly and googled and I am concerned. Also we are dissolving in 5ml of water then giving her 2.5 mls and this does not seem like a lot of water to be dissolving it in

Glad your dd is getting some treatment now. Are the episodes reducing in frequency?

Hi mummytopebs we've 'spoken' before on your other thread. My dd has had daily baby aspirin since she was 6 months old. She's been fine on it - just make sure not to give it on an empty stomach.

Also there is a contraindication if they have chickenpox so check that out with the consultant next time you see him.

Cargirl the episodes are reducing in the deepness of colour change, but are still happening frequently.

Her left hand changes colour nearly everytime she eats and her fingers swell on the left when she eats.

She has gone the opposite with the minus tempretures and her hands are burning hot and blistering and peeling, her hand are so hot you can feel them burning through clothes.

She has been having bouts of diahorrhea and her urine output has dropped to 2 nappie changes in 24 hours so the consultant is worried that the vessels round her organs are been affected, hence starting the asprin.

Her bloods and mine and her dads bloods have been sent to Germany, as a german consultant seems to think she knows what the problem is.

Mummy it all sounds so scary Sad I wouldn't google. Your dd obviously has something very rare and they clearly are looking to protect her the best way possible with the information they have now.

Aspirin is an amazing drug and she is only having a tiny amount, like sagger says ensure it's taken with food not an empty tummy.
