So dd has tonsillitis and started on antibiotics on Sunday night. Since then she has hardly drank anything. Her eating had already gone, except for some creak first thing.

Doc made it clear a lack of drinking could be very serious so how much should she be drinking? How do I tell if she us dehydrated?

what about ice lollies/ice cream, etc - taste nice and will give food/fluids at the same time

Struggling with those too, she managed some maccy d milkshake yesterday (can you tell I am feeling a little desperate !)

Ice lollies.

Any drink with lots of ice and a straw. Or LOTS of straws - some find lots of straws very entertaining.

Drink from a tiny egg spoon. Or from a soup ladle.

In a bottle like a baby.

From a saucer, like a cat.

Direct from the telephone shower in the bath.

From a water pistol.
