My very active DS has just been prescribed glasses for close work although not for sport etc. Any cool styles sparky little lads will find appealing?

My dd1 (age 7) is currently wearing bright blue metal framed glasses from the Boots NHS range. Her last glasses were bright purple plastic.

DS and his best mate both have cool Star Wars ones. They are blue/brown, but have little Clone Wars droid pictures etc on the side, and very cool cases Smile

Star Wars ones sound good. And Ds loves Harry Potter so he's keen on round. Apparently Asda have some good ones but our nearest one with an optician is 2 hours drive.

DD is now 9 but has been wearing hers for about three years. She currently has purple ones and green ones , a lad in her class a couple of years ago had Mr Men and another had Thomas. The range of specs for children are so much better than when I had my NHS pale pink ones.
Her most recent ones came from specsavers and I can't fault the service or choice. Shame we have to cross the channel for it.

Ive found our little independant opticians to have the best range of funky glasses for my 4yr old DD2.

She is on her 4th pair since she got them at 3yrs old, and her latest ones are fab! Bright purple with butterflies on the legs!

All I can suggest is to shop around - different opticians have different glasses available on the NHS x

Thanks folks. Was very proud of DS at the hospital so said we'd find something he really likes for his first pair. Hoping NHS ones will fit the bill but I really want him to feel as happy as he can getting used to them.
