I live in a very sunny city and prefer my baby sling to walking him in the stroller but there are quite a few chemicals in the sunscreen that makes me weary of lathering it on him every day. I also worry that if I find an all natural product, it may not work. Any suggestions that anyone KNOWS will work?

Badger SPF 30. Completely natural. Can you not dress the baby in light cotton clothes and a sun hat so you don't have to use suncream all over?

use a sunhat. tuck a muslin in to drape over his legs

far better to cover him up than slather sunscreen on

i also thought you shouldn't use sunscreen on a small baby anyway??

It's not ideal at all.

I used to cover dd up as much as possible (hat, loose cotton clothes) and when in a sling on a hot day, I wore my most ridiculous straw hat to cover her too.

Thankyou! I do usually try to dress him in loose pants but I still don't have a cooler long sleeve shirt. He always wears a baseball cap when out, but do not have a sunhat that fits him. Time to go shoppin! I will try out the badger bubbleymummy, thanks! Think I will feel better dressing him better than worrying about the lotion all the time. I thought of wearing a big sun hat myself too. Thats a good idea:)
