when ds had worms, i washed a few toys so he could have them to sleep with, the rest went in a bin bag and sat in the spare room for a few weeks until any eggs amongst them will have (hopefully!) died off. must of worked as he's had them all back for ages and no repeat wormies!

Freezer for 24 hours, then vac them to remove any dust.

Bloody hell WMMC, how big is your freezer?! Good idea about the vac tho.

Neytiri, presumably the eggs & whatever die without human contact?

Will try combination of all those things, save the freezer, as I haven't got room.

Thanks people

DD had them a few dys ago-I washed the ones on her bed.

Just read here that the eggs can survive outside the body for up to 2 weeks. So maybe like neytiri said wash the few they can't manage without then put the rest away for a while.
