i was wondering if they are a good idea, and if they are, at what age would you start to give them to your children?

If your child eats a wide and varied diet including oily fish, vitamins are unnecessary. If they are little horrors and wont look a green food, fish, fruit etc. then I think around 6 months when they start weaning. There are various vitamin drops and omega 3 fish oil capsules and should all do the trick. Food wise is always the best though, as they are better absorbed. Try for a rainbow diet, a wide variety of different coloured vedge/fruit provide a wide range of vits! Smile

I give my 4 & 7 yr olds Bassetts chewy multi vitamins and Halib-OrangeKids Omega 3 chewy vitamins every day. I really believe they help with their immune systems as they are hardly ever ill and with my 7 year old sons concentration. Could be the placebo effect but it gives me comfort.

My dc's (3 & 2) have the Wellkid stuff. It has a bit of omega 3, malt and flaxseed in, plus the usual vits & mins. They eat really well though.

I do tend to mainline vitamins though Blush, 3 for 2 in Boots and I'm in shopping Heaven.
