Warts: are they supposed to go all brown when you treat them?

DS2 has some nuclear waste stuff for a large wart on his hand (Gluc... summat or other). It basically says do not use without full hazmat suit except it is perfectly alright to paint on the hands of small children.

And wart (and little bit of skin around it) has turned brown. Wart occasionally bleeds but we think that is mostly because it catches on things.

Please tell me this is all normal and I don't have to head back to GP...? It is our first wart since I had one as a 7yo and managed to charm it off with a hair and a magic spell. Medicine seems to have moved on since then Grin.

I have no idea - but just don't like seeing you talk to yourself Grin

Brown would suggest dead cells (to me). As long as it is not sore, or pussy then I would think it is ok. If his fingers do fall off then I am obviously wrong and not to be trusted.

Recently shifted a verucca from DS's foot with Wartner's freezing stuff. First it turned blue, then brown, then black. Then dropped off. Sounds like you're headed in the right direction.
