what are/ were your preschooler's favourite books?

dd's second b-day coming up.

going to hit ebay to get a bumper selection and need ideas.

Polly Dunbar's series of books about Tilly, Tumpty, Doodle, Pru and Hector are brilliant. DD absolutely loves them. Get them from amazon as a package - much cheaper.

-All the Mog books (apart from Goodbye Mog, of which he knows nothing, and I can't bear to show him )

-'Raddit Book' (The Tale of Peter Rabbit)

-Shirley Hughes' Alfie books (great for pre-schoolers, lots going on in the illustrations)

-Another vote for Polly Dunbar's Penguin.

-Julia Donaldson/Axel Scheffler Gruffalo, Monkey Puzzle and Room on the Broom

-Anything featuring Charlie and Lola...

And we've just discovered a brilliant, all-picture-no-text book by Quentin Blake, called Clown.

Its a counting book but will make you, the adult, lol.
