Rosemary sutcliffe

DD9 is a voracious reader. What age would you recommend her books. She has read roman mysteries and time travelling cat. Do you think it is better if she is a bit older.

It is unfortunate that Rosemary Sutcliffe's name is a cross between Rose West and Peter Sutcliffe, because every time I see this thread in Active Convos today, I think 'Serial killer. Oh, no, Eagle of the Ninth'.

It shouldn't have the final e though - it is Sutcliff.

I think Sutcliff's The Armourer's House would be ideal for an 8-9 year old. Very cosy!
