My bil is asking what to buy my dds for Xmas

They both love books esp the youngest and as he is a buy it all off amazon type thought I'd ask for lots

What do people recommend as an essential part of their education? They have the gruffalo and a lot of Dr Seuss plus various others. Would love to hear what other mnettrs' dcs loved at this age. Thank you.

Tough Boris
Possum Magic

the Book People have a couple of good deals on collections at the moment- just bought these and these were a huge hit last year.

Pendulum · 09/12/2008 18:15

The Ahlberg books, especially Peepo!

Anything by Shirley Hughes (the collection is great, it has poems for very young children and stories for older ones)
