Can anyone think of faiytales that include curses?

I can only think of Beauty and the Beast but there must be more. Anyone?

Come to think of it, more Hans Christian Anderson curses: Elise and the Eleven Swans. Elise has to weave shirts from stinging nettles to save her 11 brothers from a curse which turned them into swans.
