Funny books or graphic novels (comics) for 7 year old

Something written by a UK author might be a bit more relatable for her, she likes graphic novels where there's a female protagonist but it isn't essential.

We're looking for a longer book or collection of stories ideally.

Reading age is just under 8 years old.

My dd loved the Jedi academy books. The adventurers (not graphic novels) are an updated and witty version of the famous five, my dd really enjoyed them.

My dd enjoyed Wigglesbottom Primary series

Isadora Moon was very popular with my DD at the same reading age. Not a graphic novel, but is heavy on illustrations.
(Male) animals rather than girls in starring roles, but Dogman and The Bad Guys have also been winners, as has The Phoenix comic. She's also like A Day In The Life Of A Poo, A Gnu, And You (non-fiction, and I've recently discovered is a series) and the Tom Gates stuff.

I started a very similar thread on here a few weeks back and there are lots of recommendations there if you can search it out (I'm no sure how to copy the link in using the ap). Some may be for a higher reading level though, so you'll need to check that.

Mr Gum series by Andy Stanton

Magic Faraway Tree series

Both were favourites in our house. We read Mr Gum multiple times.

The How to Train your Dragon books which feature Camicazi.

In the graphic novels genre, definitely look at Barb The Brave - Dan Abdo. 3 books in the series. Colourful comic book style so will keep her interest. Female hero.

How about a subscription to The Phoenix magazine? It's a mix of short comics and serialisations, some serious and some very silly. It's really good. Some of the comics are also collated into books e.g. Looshkin, Bunny vs Monkey by Jamie Smart are both from The Phoenix.

The Daisy and the Trouble with.... book series by Kes Gray is brilliantly funny.

No a UK writer but the graphic novel versions of The Babysitter's Club are great.
