Doctors in children's literature - are there any? Need a character for DS2 to dress up as.

DS2 is supposed to dress up as a book character for World Book Day on Thursday. We have a great doctor's outfit but i can't think of a character for him to be. Are there any?
We also have a policeman's outfit and a fireman's but I can't think of any character for them either.
DS1 is going as Harry Potter so he's sorted.

Make him his own puddle, a piece of puddle shaped cardboard covered in tin foil. He can tuck it under his arm!

Ummm. Don't want to be a pain. And obviously it is none of my business. So please feel free to tell me to p*ss off. But Dr Foster is not from a book. He is mentioned in a nursery rhyme but he is not a character from a book (unlike Dr Doolittle which would be easy if DS took a few stuffed animals with him).

Ooo Dickon I lurved him, a sort of gentler, more cerebral Mellors. In recent sequel (film) Mary has married Colin (boo). Oh dear can't stop laughing at own uselessness.

What about Dr. Dog (Babette Cole- I like the bit where he tells granpa off for eating beans and drinking beer, and he farts and blows the house up!!! ) Add some droopy ears and paint his face like a dog- voila!
