i am an author of children's picture books. i would really like to know how your child reacts to e books. my books are for the 2-7 age group. obviously the younger ones listen as parent reads...the older ones can hopefully read. but, do kids like e books? any input will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

My daughter used to read Kindle when she was around 7 but shifted back to physical books.

I have 3 and 5yo chn and they love paper books. They do use some APPs for reading but mainly the CBEEBIES ones which read it to you and highlight the words - not sure if this is what you had in mind.

Not sure it's exactly what you're after but I like the CD versions for the car that come with the read along books. I've never used an app on their kindle for anything like this

I'm pro-ebooks if they're interactive! We use a personalised book app for our DD which helps draw them in.

i read ebooks with my 2 year old sometimes.
the best ones are interactive so press a button and a sound effect happens or press the picture and there’s an animation- for yours it could be a splash or a rabbits ears move.

If it's a book I'm reading to the kids with no or minimal pictures then ebook is fine, but other than that I would only ever buy the paper copy of the book.

Haptic benefits of physical books outweigh everything unless the subject admits to inter-activitiy which is delivered well.
