Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for books for my 8 year old.
He loves Tom Gates and James Patterson books. Also the Dogman books. Typical 8 year old humour. Thanks.

Mr Gum series by Andy Stanton. First one is "You're a bad man, Mr Gum". Utterly brilliant

Mine loved flat Stanley (his absolute favourite), diary of a wimpy kid, David Walliams and roahl Dahl. He also liked books written about sports he was into. My dd loved the battersea dogs home stories if he likes animals.
