My 7 year old loves the dork diary series, but has read most of them now. Does any one have any recommendations for something else she'd like please? Thanks! Smile

My daughter loved dork diaries, she also liked Tom gates. Wimpy kid, David Williams. Some of the Jacqueline Wilson stuff is ok for that age but alot isn't.

She was reading dork diaries at more like 9 though so the other stuff she has moved onto would probably be too old.

Some DD enjoyed @7 that I recall:

The Princess in Black books
Judy Moody
The Worst Witch
The Lottie Lipton adventures (intrepid girl investigator)
Some Roald Dahl
The Ramona Quimby books (ah memories Smile)
The younger Judy Bloom books such as freckle juice, tales of a fourth grade nothing.
Some Enid Blyton such as The naughtiest girl, the secret seven (they've amended her books to get rid of the xenophobia)

Middle School books.

Fall Towers (? - certainly something Towers!) by Lou Kuenzler. A lot of this lady's books are popular with 7 year olds, eg Shrinking Violet.

Thanks so much for all the great suggestions. I will take a look and hopefully find some for Christmas.
