Suggestions for very able book loving 6 year old

Hi,
My 6 year old is a very able and an avid reader. I’d really appreciate any suggestions of chapter books which are age appropriate but cater for his reading ability. He is confidently reading level 11 and 12 books from school which on the whole are very uninspiring. He’s read a Bear Grylls book over the last 2 days and recently read books like Marge in Charge by Isla Fisher and The Bolds by Julian Clarey. I find it very difficult to judge which books are appropriate for him and not too scary or emotionally advanced. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. ThanksSmile

Astrosaurs by Steve Cole where popular here at that age.

The Redwall series by Brian Jaques.

My DS had read all the Enid Blytons etc and found them dull at the same age.

He devoured the Redwall books, couldn't get enough and luckily there are an awful lot of them.
