She's a very able reader. She's recently read lots of John Green, Malorie Blackman, the Divergence series. Any suggestions for what next?

Oh and Takver, my DD now thinks that she and your DD are cosmic twins as they have identical taste in reading.

Grin MaudantWit - I'll have to ask dd if she's read the WondLa books, haven't seen them go by

The WondLa books are good I read them myself they have additional "smart" content in some of the illustrations if you have a smartphone too.

Thanks for all the suggestions. She's resd quite s few of the books mentioned but there's some to investigate.

For those who asked why doesn't she choose Her own books - she does. But I still like to buy some for her as gifts and to try and introduce her to new authors/ widen her reading.

Dd yr 7 is really enjoying wonder by RJ Palacio, it's meant to be my book club read but she got to it first! She's also loved a few of Lauren St John's books -Race The Wind or something like that.

Posting to remind myself to make notes.

Dd is 11 and has read everything in the library and I've run out if stuff. Have allowed some teen and teen plus stuff against my instincts but hard to complain about a child who wants to read. Trouble is she wants to read stuff I really do not want her too.

Has she read the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness?
