Summer reading for girl going into Y11 in Sept

DD's English teacher has suggested she widens her range of reading matter over the summer holidays, and I'm after any suggestions please.

She likes HP & Hunger Games but not ghosts/vampires/gothic etc.

All ideas welcome!

I loved Austen at that age - Emma is my favourite

taxi our library sends out an email to remind you when books need to be renewed/returned. You can also renew online. Could you add your email address to her library card, to keep tabs on when things need to go back?
