Alternatives to Horrid Henry

Any suggestions. My DD is 12, severely dyslexic with other special needs. I have tried and spent large amounts on books, E Reader but I cannot get her interested in any other books. She just keeps reading Horrid Henry over and over again and says other books are too difficult/boring even though she will not try them. She has tried audio books but has auditory and hearing problems so struggles with these.
Are there any other books out there similar to horrid Henry? thanks

All the David Walliams are good, very funny and entertaining. DS1 is 11 and also dyslexic loved them, just started to read his latest.

Tom Gates books are also great, not to boyish either.

Diary of a Wimpy Kids also great.

All books above are in a great typeface and have illustrations which appeals to the broader more 3d way a dyslexic brain works.

Dirty Bertie are very similar but Bertie is a bit nicer.
Fleabag Monkeyface have toilet humour and pictures most pages too.
Agree the Tom Gates books.
If she likes Moshi Monsters or Skylanders there are related short novels.

I have to confess I have never looked inside a horrid henry book but do you think it is the style of the print that appeals as well as the stories? Barrington Stoke I think it is publish some books printed in such a way as to be better for dyslexics but you might already know that and that won't help if it is the stories that she likes. My eldest is just getting into Rainbow Fairies but she won't touch Horrid Henry so I don't think the 2 are generally compatible lol. What about dick king smith? or someone recommended to me the other day the 'meet just william' books which are simplified versions of just william I think. Some are out of print but others are available online. They might appeal as the stories are presumably similar ish set up to Horrid Henry? I have heard very good things about David Walliams stuff.

Check out the BarringtonStoke list- they are printed on non white paper, special type face, v careful sentence construction, and all books published are first read by 50 students with reading difficulties, all problems arising highlighted, referred back to author and then rewritten. Also an author will be given a brief to write say, a story for 12 year olds with a reading age of 8, so readers don't feel as they are reading 'down'. They are absolutely excellent, I have written for them myself so know first hand the work that goes into them.

Captain Underpants is a bit like Horrid Henry I think.
