Hi, has anyones dc's read the Terry Pratchett books? i'm struggling to find books for dd1 for christmas, she loves fantisy (harry potter, anything to do with magic, dragons etc..), i have ordered her a couple Terry Pratchett books using my Tesco vouchers, just wondered 'how good are they and did your dc'd enjoy them?'.

I agree about Inkheart, it's very good.

I really like Terry Pratchett, but I think you're better off with the Bromeliad (that's right I think, the Diggers, Truckers and Wings series) and the Tiffany Aching series.

Some of the 'adult' Discworld have some quite um, adult themes. Mind you, I read them when I was 11/12 and most of the references went straight over my head!
