What age would you say 'I Shall Wear Midnight' is suitable for?

My DD is 12 and still likes me to read to her at night - recently the first 3 of Terry Pratchetts TIffany Aching books have been a big hit. Now nearing the end of The Amazing Maurice... and wondering what to try next. Haven't read 'I shall wear midnight' myself yet - was about to pre-order the paperback, but the reviews indicate it might be better left till later (for DD, I'll probably get it for myself anyway). What do you reckon?

Thanks.

I think 12 should be fine for I Shall Wear Midnight.
(partic if the other Tiff books suited)

enjoy!

yes, it is more grown up, but I think that at 12, i was reading adults' books, anyway.

However, the best thing you can do, jsut to be on the safe side, is read it yourself first.

DD read it at 12. I was reading Harold Robbins at that age.

A bit of sex is hardly the end of the world. It's time they learned about it, if they don't already know.

Thanks for the feedback. She's done her Yr7 PSHE and Biology Grin

I'll read it myself and then decide if its going to be something she wants me reading to her or just hand it over - she's never suggested I read Jaqueline Wilson to her, much rather read those herself!
