I'd like to get my 3 year old a really nice book on christmas. One that I can keep and being out every christmas for my lo to look at and enjoy.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

The Story of Holly and Ivy by Rumer Godden (especially if you have a DD, though I'm sure some boys would like it too).

Also The Polar Express by Chris van Allsburg. The last page always makes me cry!

Another vote for The Jolly Christmas Postman. I read it every year as a child and am looking forward to reading it to my own children. It's a gorgeous book.
