Hair wig - shaving for cancer

Hello all!
So my goddaughter has had to shave her head as she has cancer and I am going to do the same to be with her. I just need to know where the best place I can get a wig that isn't too expensive as I don't have much money. Has anyone got any advice?

The little princess trust gives children real hair wigs for free. Think you apply on their website x

Yes, definitely Little Princess trust. Sending you and your goddaughter all good wishes, OP Flowers

The whole point of 'braving the shave' (horrible attention-seeking behaviour imo) is to experience the same feelings as someone who is losing their hair due to cancer treatment.

Of course, you won't get the same 'experience' due to not having any of the toxic chemo, relentless testing, hospital visits, constant nausea and immense worry for your health and future. Wearing a wig afterwards rather undermines the reasons for doing it in the first place, that solidarity with your goddaughter, don't you think?

Wishing her a speedy recovery op.
