What's on your food list for Christmas time?

If you're not really having visitors, it will likely just be me and DH, but I still want to get in a few special treats. Trying to narrow down my list as I could quite happily eat all the party food!

We have all the party food, so I'm not very helpful 😂

I also like to buy a box of chocolates rather than eg celebrations because it feels like more of a treat. M&S have a lovely big box of Christmas chocolates for £15 this year.

Shortbread, chocolate covered pistachios, honey roasted cashew nuts, mince pies, some tubs of chocolate and some different cheeses

Cheese, really nice savoury snacks from M&S, shortbread, good chocolates.

Nothing different from what I normally eat. Sadly I can't have the Christmas food I really like - mince pies and Christmas pudding - these days, because I have GERD and while I love sultanas, they don't love me.

A cherry and amaretto Xmas pudding, a stollen, and a pile of mince pies. No xmas cake yet - havent foind a dairy free one. There will be a black forest trifle, but obvioisly thats not made yet. Dark chcolate lebkuchen, fancy crisps and smoked nuts for snacking. Assorted fancy crackers to go with the massive cheese board. Accompaniments to the cheese board - quince jelly, grape jelly, a fig and almond thing.

Xmas dinner itself will be salmon en croute with all the trimmings.

Some good cheese and crackers, cheese straws/ twists (as I can’t trust myself with them all year round!), fancy chocs, some nice things in for hot breakfasts whilst I’m off work, good coffee - basically I just upgrade myself on what I usually have as it’s just me and DH and we’re not going away so need to make the time off work special. On Xmas day itself I’m getting a cook at home Xmas dinner box from my fave restaurant. And I always get one of those little quiz card games that are a couple of quid instead of crackers for the table and DH and I have a mini competition over the meal and whoever loses has to clear up!
