Hi, I'm hoping to get a Cash and Carry card. I'm a childminder and this Summer am planning to do a holiday club for older children. Have any other childminders been able to do this. What proof and ID did you take. I have headed paper but it's my own and ot professionally designed.

I have a card for one of the well known Cash and Carry companies but invariably I find I can buy cheaper elsewhere whether its foodstuffs, kitchen equipment or toys and games. A lot of shopping around and price comparing is needed

Cash and carry stores are quite expensive. I did some shopping for the pre-school (cleaning stuff) and there was hardly any choice and it would have been much cheaper in Asda.
Cash and carry is only good for bulk buying and boxes of sweets

I have a Costco trade member card, all I needed was proof of address, is and a copy of my registration certificate.

However, it's much more expensive than other places, as others have said on here. I bulk buy toilet rolls, kitchen rolls but rarely buy anything for my childminding business - though they do get some good books and arty crafty things in from time to time.

Makro also give cards to cms, but none close enough to me.

I have been asked for my NCMA card and letter from the Inland Revenue in the past.

I was a member of Costco for a few years but I have not renewed it this year as I find I can buy cheaper on the high street.
