Do I just take my minded children with me?

I will have 4 under 5yrs (yes I have a variation) when I take my dd2 to school, it's for an hour between 2-3pm the letter says we are to leave them in the classroom and go for a coffee and chat with the other parents.

TIA

I'm sure there will be other parents there with other dc so I wouldn't worry about taking them. Is there a park nearby that you could pop to if needed?

I would see how the minded children are when you drop off your dd, is it likely to disrupt their sleeptimes? if they are grumpy you could say a quick hello and say that you are off for a walk or stay for a coffee and then go for a walk.
If its a school where you know everyone you could take a few toys with you, its only an hour, the minded children will probably enjoy it and be made welcome.

No park nearby, I'm hoping they will all nap before we go so should be ok, I'm just a bit worried it's not the done thing but if you say it's ok then I'm sure it will be fine I might have to ask if I can take the pushchair in while we look round the class room because I want to give my dd some attention/ reassurance while she looks at her new class room for the first time and it will be tricky if I've got 3 mindees on the loose. I will take some toys with me and it should be fine

When my eldest started school I had DS2 and DD with me in a double buggy, and nobody batted an eyelid. No doubt other mums will have younger children with them. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I wouldn't worry, its all part of everyday life and can be made interesting by chatting to the children about going to school.

If anything I am doing the settling in for one of my mindee's as mum and dad are too busy, so will taking her in for the next few weeks.

I had to drop my car off at the local garage today and the little boy who was with me, loved watching (from a safe distance of course) the cars up in the air, in varying states of repair. We went to the park while it was being mended, but he kept talking about the "flying cars" and was very excited on the way back, only to be disappointed when my car was waiting ready for me in the car park.

I booked the day off, in case my DD kicked off, but as it turned out, I could have easily taken the mindees with me.
