Sorry about the shouting, two of my long term mindees left for Australia nearly 5 weeks ago, leaving me with a bit of extra time, so I have been working like mad on my new laptop my husband bought me for Xmas, to try and help me with my business, (really to stop me having to fight with my 2 DD's over computer time) it had hardly been used, a friend kindly sorted out wireless, so I could look at mumsnet do more work during the day. I had re-done all my policies, risk-assesments, procedures, updated all the learning journey's, new parent contact books, tonnes of bloody work and it crashed. I have been told today that the hard-drive is dead as a dodo, and they can't save anything , DH has been brilliantly sympathetic with a "well didn't you back it up then!!!!!", and I am due an inspection soon, and have possibly got some new business on the way, so will have to start over again. I didn't realise how much work I had done on it untill now. I am now back to fighting DD over computer time (who will die without facebook).
No advice needed (apart from remembering to back up next time) just needed to vent.
Thank you
