Does anybody use or work for "sitters"?

I have just registered as a babysitter for sitters and just waiting for everything to go though. Not really sure what to expect from them, their rules seemed very strict when I went for my interview!

Anybody have any experience with them?

Lady biscuit its not just a case of sitting and watching tv your dc might wake up and also everyones time is money and its no fun driving home late at night.

I worked for them for five years but have just had enough of the terrible pay and conditions. Its my impression now that as sitters are the cheaper option for evening baby sitting they are less exclusive and ive definitely been treated worse the past two years. Cold houses . Building bloody sites, stinky huge scary dogs, a dad who stalked me .but what hurt the most was when I was pregnant these parents would roll in hours late without even an apology let alone a tip and with no mobile reception I could not let my partner know I was ok . The parents didnt give a shite. It was just not worth the time away from my family. It should be 7 per hour no matter what day of the week and 10 after midnight.

we used them a lot in the uk. to be honest it's a lifesaver to be able to rely on making one call or e-booking and letting someone else do the chasing around for you.

i loved the fact you can ask for your favourites, and also specify if there's someone that you didn't connect with, for whatever reason.

didn't realise it was a franchise though, so i'm guessing it might vary a lot depending on where you live/ are booking for.
