CM Club: Quieter than ive ever been in 4 years 8-(

Am advertising everywhere, online, in shops, schools, on facebook through friends, parents etc etc etc...the last 3 enquiries ive had have all gone belly up before contracts where signed (didnt check tax credits = no help with costs, gone to someone cheaper-even tho im not expensive, dad made redundant on day of bringing contracts back)..am so so stressed, things are awful here, its causing so many problems ..we go away in 3 weeks..with what!?..have been point blank disregarded for any weeekend jobs ive been applying for and just been on phone to DWP to see if theres anything i can do, got meeting friday...havent really got a question just feel so crap at the minute as everything seems to be going wrong even before it starts ..then got the court case in June ..sorry..just feeling sorry for myself here..need to snap out of it.x

Hi everyone..thing with my current situation is its hard to say when i wont be working as i have ad hoc mindees who may come 3 days a week some times then nothing for 2 months? so most places want set days/hours from you and my explaining my job has seemed to be putting people off (employers).

just rang child care plus and theyve had one enquiry for one day at 5 hours but lady hasnt spoken to husband at all yet so will prob come to nothing again.
had a telephone enquiry yesterday but wasnt clear as gentleman didnt understand/speak english very clearly, tho i was trying to explain in easy terms and he got the price ok, he said his mum will come round this afternoon..then went ot put phone down..so i quickly said ill be in between x & y and then after Z and he said shell come after z....im not holding my breath..was for 2 children too!!!

sorry to hear all this PinkChick.. poor you, sometimes it all gets too bloody much and a good rant helps..(hope so anyway)

best of luck with potential punters, it can all change really quickly and has to go your way soon.

have got meself a nice book today and have wrote in everywhere im advertising, what interest theyre getting and writing down any leads, enquiries i get, details, when theyre ringing back, when theyre visitng/starting{hopefully!} etc..makes me feel a bit more pro active and i can reflect on it to see if/where im going wrong anywhere!

was chatting to a mum at school today, she passed her gorgeous baby girl over to me while she did something today and she was happy, laughing trying to get my sunglasses, kicking away smiling etc, mum was hapy to see her so comfy with me then someone mentioned me being a cm..she didnt know and said that was really interesting..cue me dropping gorgeous baby to get business cards out LOL..no once baby was handed back, after a few cuddles i gave mum card and she said shed been to a nursery with her elder one and wasnt happy, plus expensive and said would i cost x amount..truth is i prob would be about that but i said no, and said i would make sure i gave her a good deal when she comes to see me..dont know if it will be full or part time, am thinking part, but will be baby and 5 yr old sibling from school and that would be fandabbydozy as theyre both sweethearts too!..wont be for another 8 weeks i think but if we get talking she may want to get things tied up???...Am keeping EVERYTHING crossed!!!!.xxx
