Just wondering what the norm is. I'm not talking about occasional days out to the zoo etc, more attending regular groups on, say, weekly basis?

Sorry, meant to add - I know that sounds really harsh. I value my cm so much and appreciate everything she does. I would never want to lose her or for ds to have to leave her. It would break my heart But we are also on a tight budget and income and it's just what we can afford - we simply don't have the money to pay such a sharp increase.

Oh ... I only put up my rates about 10p per hour when I changed them. Just enough to cover toddler groups, but I also include nappies, wipes, etc too. I am slightly expensive for my area, but parents know they don't have any add on costs.

obv in that post it was 50p per hour would cost extra £20 per week which is at least £80 per month...

10p per hour would be an extra £4 per week... that would be manageable if it had to be.

Our CM doesn't charge for regular groups (toddler stuff, music group, going to the castle, ocassional soft play or similar). She does charge extra for zoo trips etc but I can opt out and she'll go on a day she doesn't have DD. Hoping she'll take DD to all the expensive places while she's little and hopefully she'll get in free
