It will be very hard to be able to give any figure, as there are going to be various factors which may affect things - such as experience level, possibly the number of children being cared for in total, the hours (working very early or very late could cost more).

A nanny working for two families at the same time, could get a salary 20-25% higher than a nanny just working for one family. So if say £10 per hour gross was typical for a nanny working for one family, when doing a share it may be £12, £13 an hour gross... which is then split between the two families - though how that split is done will vary.

Are you sure you want a nanny share? Have you looked at having a nanny in your own right... just to work the 2 days? Have you looked at Childminders?
A nannyshare could involve you having someone elses children rampaging around your home... are you sure you want that?

i used a childminder with my last child who was excellent ,so i am going to look at childminders again , i was just curious to know if a nanny share would be comparable ,price wise . Other peoples children in my home? that would mean i would have to clean it

I think you might have the wrong end of the stick. I am a nanny and have been in many nanny shares in the past and have just signed a contract for another share later this month. Yes I do work at both houses and both families have some additional equipment in their houses as both girls are babies but hasn't anybody told you we clear up the toys ourselves? Likewise we wash toys, do laundry, tidy bedrooms, cook meals (though only for the children) it's almost like having a partial house keeper and childcarer! Incidently, I get £12 net per hour -that's only £6 per hour per employer, many childminders will give you a sibling reduction (typically 20%, I used to be a minder) but chances are it will still cost you more than having a nannyshare and then you have to drop the kids, collect them, fed them, do the housework...
