EYFS - Is it OK to backdate my planning paperwork?

All I have been doing is a book for each mindee with notes about what they've done, photos and examples of picture etc. I have not referred to specific EYFS goals or planned particularly in advance.

Until recently I only had most of them for a day or so a week and they all also attend nursery on the other days.

Is it OK to slightly "make it up" by referring back through their observation books?

That's fine, you make us out to look like the bad ones

Communication goes a long way nowadays and thats is all we asked for, a little communication!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 27/03/2010 19:32

oi oi

take it off board please

thank you

Sorry - this will be MY final word as I have no wish to upset or trash anyone.
BabyDays you say that the forum/owner didn't communciate with you however
a) I notice in your other postings you are saying Mumsnet haven't communciated with you (initally) - yet you refrain from making 'honest and open' comments about them

b)you say that the forum didn't communicate with you yet you say that you were told you had to pay? I presume that was the non-communication you are on about then.

c) making silly comments on peoples Twitter pages and then going on to be 'open and honest' about them in other places really doesn't make you look professional or businesslike at all IMO.

I am sure other members of the forum will be 'aware' of your product and members will make their own minds up.

Apologies to the OP'er and mumsnet for digressing away from the OP but I really feel it was unfair and unjust and I needed to defend my friends - which is what The Forum as a whole equates to.

BabysDays · 27/03/2010 20:36

Always good to have the last word, clearly you have made up your mind on which side of the story to take

Appears to be quite a lot of people in this forum that just want to argue all the time, it's a shame they spoil it for others!

BabysDays 'Appears to be quite a lot of people in this forum that just want to argue all the time, it's a shame they spoil it for others! '

hmm couldn't agree more with you BabyDays - not being a 'regular' on this forum I do actually find this site rather intimidating and the manner of posting abrupt and insensitive at times (there are some really lovely postings at times too). Perhaps because its anon that people feel that they can really express themselves at times.

LauraIngallsWilder · 27/03/2010 22:07

What an odd thread! - I agree with BALD!

And fwiw babydays, you would need to pay to advertise anything on mumsnet as well......................

BabysDays · 27/03/2010 22:13

And that's exactly what I (WAS) going to do, not sure I want to now!!

BUT I did NOT want to advertise with them, they wanted money from me to ask for testers, they would have got their money, but why would I spend money on advertising 6 months ago when we had nothing for sale!

Anyone else want to put their 2 cents in here !!!!!

Anyway, I am off, you know where we are if you need us, it was good speaking to some of you and I wish you all the best with your childminding, I won't be back on this forum, too many people on here looking for arguments and I unfortunately don't have time for that.

LauraIngallsWilder · 27/03/2010 22:35

I wasnt suggesting you werent going to babydays

You come across as a rather argumentative/stroppy person so perhaps MN isnt the best place for you.

Over the last 6 years I have in general found MN a very welcoming and friendly place

(Its a public forum, if I would like to add my 2 cents worth I will!)

Neenah · 03/05/2010 17:38

I dread to think what response you'd get from this company if you had a problem with their software and made a complaint!

I love mumsnet and have found people in general to be polite and welcoming. Perhaps that's because I'm not aggressive and unpleasant to others.
