Need a new ap and Q about wages

Our lovely AP has just given notice as she's ready to go off travelling now.

We'll need someone new in May or June and usually use ap world, is there anywhere else worth having a look do you think?

I'm also keen to make sure we pay a fair rate of pocket money/wages so would be really grateful if you can reveal how much you pay? We need 30 hrs per week and have 2 boys aged 3 and 5.

Thanks!

We pay 85 plus 10 phone credit and use of car. Also gym membership, Internet access etc

We pay £70 per week for 25 hours and £90 per week for 35 hours. Wireless broadband internet is provided and I increased our package so AP could skype as much as she likes which realistically is equivalent to £20 worth of phone calls a week.
We are based in West Berkshire and AP rates tend to be fairly high here.

£70 for 30 hours here as well.

Unlimited calls home, UK mobile phone with all UK calls and texts covered, use of car with local petrol covered, gym membership and wireless braoadband.

Additional £10/week bonus if they make it to end of contract.

Rural Cambs so car is essential.

according to our AP, most of her friends are on 75 for 30 hours but no phone credit or gym membership .

I think my aupair gets a good deal £130 - 35 - 40 hours! She is older, has been with us for over two years and does all the housework.
Based in London.

My mother offers £80 for approx 25 hours (but no childcare any more as we're older than the APs by now!). Opportunity for extra babysitting/school runs for people we know through church.

Remember that if you go over the LEL (£97?) you have start operating PAYE and over the tax threshold (£110?) you need to start making deductions on their behalf so it's in your interests to keep it below about £90 to avoid any potential paperwork.

We are on the South Coast in a medium sized town so probably would pay the upper end of those figures to tempt someone nice! About £85-90 would be fair I guess with no gym but unlimited calls home, unlimited bb and use of (crappy) car.

Now to the nause of starting the recruiting process.

Thanks for the info.
