Ok to sleep in buggy

Hi all, still panicking about Ofsted here!

Little one (5 months) usually sleeps in the buggy (I do have a travel cot, but it'd need to be up in main playing/living space, whereas buggy is quiet in hallway) which her parents were happy with.

Will Ofsted be ok with this, or should I put up the travel cot?

Thanks again for all the help. Can't wait for it all to be over!

Oh, should say, buggy lies flat, if that makes a difference and she isn't yet rolling/sittng up.

I can't see Ofsted having a problem with that as they are still young. I had a mindee who started at 8 weeks and mum just wanted her in a buggy in the lounge as that's what she was used to at home. This continued until I went on maternity leave when she was 6 months old. I then moved on to travel cot upstairs when she came back at 8 months old. I'd certainly challenge any inspector who has something negative to say about this arrangement at this age

Get a proforma made up and get parents to sign permission for the baby to sleep in a buggy, just to cover yourself. Unfortunately there are inspectors who will not like it and question it and try to trip you up over it

i was wondering this myself the other day..i have 2 little ones on same day who both like a little nap before lunch...i have a travel cot but it would be too small for them as one is 2yr and one has just gone 3yr..i have adouble buggy, back lays almost flat and fron leans back enough to be comfortable, plus she has space to move her feet around, she wouldnt have this in travel cot and i dont agree with leaving them on a sofa as someone once suggested..they both get tucked up in a blanket and have their nap...was wondering if ofsted would have something to say about this?

I had my inspection last week and my 13 month old mindee was asleep in the buggy when the inspector came and she was fine with it.

I have a travel cot for littlies but I do tuck uop the older ones both 3 on the sofa for a nap. I am in the room though all the time they are asleep and the sofa is very big. ofsted didnt bat an eyelid and the inspector commented how snug they looked.

wouldnt do this for under 2 and a half though.

I think as long as safe, warm and comfy buggy sleeping is fine..

a bedguard on the couch would be a way to make sure they don't roll off?

like this?
