I'm sure there are some who would. I for example only childmind one child Mon-Wed and another Wed & Thur so would be happy to take another 1 day a week.

You may have to call a few before you find someone but they are out there!

If you're near Woking let me know!

Hi I also take children for one day a week but I do charge a daily fee of X (10 hrs) as opposed to an hourly fee.

I am sure there are childminders out there who would be happy to take a child for 7 hours.

I take children on for odd days. I don't really like doing half days, but 1 whole day would be fine with me.

SillyMillysMummy · 10/01/2010 20:05

yep, I take 1 whole day too, I usually say minimum 8 hours though

Each childminder operates differently. Some childminders would be ok with that.

I am quite flexible with my parents, as long as they give me enough notice of any changes taking place.

I do half and whole days!

Berryred · 10/01/2010 21:14

I would tak eon a child for 7 hours if it fitted aroun the other children in my care

I have had children just one day a week, in fact come april I will have a 1 day spot for a baby which I am unlikely to fill - not in SE london are you?

Worth bearing in mind if LO is very young it might take longer for them to settle due to less time away from you/with CM but it will happen.
