So, I now have 4 children and a job as a Family support Worker that I truly do not wish to go back to because I'd miss baby DD too much. What else to do?

Childminding would take too long for registration process I fear and I've been a nanny many times before so figue why not offer a nanny share with me as the nanny..~?

So, are there any local musnetters who want to share me as their nanny with my 3 children who are at school and baby DD who is 6 months old and at home?

I can start whenever in theory and have a car and so on...

So you are looking for a family who does not mind you, your DD and potentially your 3 school age children on occasion coming to their home to care for their children, plus your DD (and potentially your 3 other children).
I would suggest that you make things very clear as to when/if your 3 older children would be present, as I would suspect that would be the thing that could most put off someone taking you up on this idea.
I don't feel you would be able to provide any childcare at your home, as that would be Childminding. Thus the nanny share would be on the condition that all childcare was provided at the share families home.

yes

it's not great is it but am hoping my experience will compensate.

of course the eldest children are at school (8.40 til 3.10 each day) so i could either offer a 9 til 3 share with my dd or a share from early til late which would entail the presence of my eldest dc for a few hours each day

i know legalities would mean the care would have to be outside my home but my understanding is that short periods in the carers home is acceptable, i.e. a visit. if i am correct about this (and i know you'll probably know nick) then it might be possible to offer drop off to me early for parents that need to be in work by 9 so that my charges would accompany us on school run and then care could continue in charges' home the remainder of the day.

i hope it is a workable proposition for a family fairly local - there is lots to do here so any time my elder children were around could easily be spent occupied out of charges' home for the most part i think.

excuse typing baby on lap!
